Cashiers provide a variety of customer service and cashier duties related to the function, facility, and department assigned and performs related work as required. The location and hours of this part-time position are flexible and vary based on the needs of the assigned department.
This is a temporary, part-time position working an average of 10 hours per week.
Supervision Received and Exercised
Receives direct or general supervision from assigned supervisory or management personnel. Exercises no direct supervision over staff.
This is an entry-level class in the Parks and Community Services Department. Positions in this class typically have basic work-related experience and work under immediate supervision.
Any combination of training and experience that would provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the required qualifications would be:
Minimum 16 years of age at the time of employment. Experience with in a retail or customer service environment preferred.
