The City of Pittsburg's Engineering Division is looking for INTERNS to assist with various projects. About the Engineering Division The Engineering Division of the Community Development Department ensures City owned facilities such as streets, storm drain systems, water distribution networks, sewer collection facilities and improvements are constructed where needed and improvements meet appropriate standards. Staff also designs and constructs City projects, assures development projects meet City requirements, manage traffic related issues and improvements like signals, process and issue permits for encroachments within the public property, site grading, parking permits and wide loads permits, and maintains all necessary records. Selected candidates is limited to work up to 999 hours per fiscal year.
