Fire Engineer

Under general supervision, the Fire Engineer will assist in fire suppression, medical emergencies and rescues; perform apparatus, building and grounds maintenance, perform fire prevention, fuel reduction efforts, fire inspection and public education activities; repair and test fire apparatus, equipment, buildings, and grounds; participate in training and educational activities; maintain records and reports; may operate and drive fire apparatus; and other related work as required.
In addition to the above, may be assigned to coverage for vacation, sick, education training, and other necessary work periods at various facilities.
